The Team

--> She's pretty much in charge of the team that makes sure that all our clients are well looked after and happy!

If I could do one thing for the  rest of my life it would be to discover the world- every spectacular scene of it and every magnificent flavor.

I was born in Kuwait, attending a multicultural school with students that came from everywhere! I then spent 3 semesters at The American University in Cairo majoring in Finance where I discovered that spending the rest of my life sitting behind a computer screen, staring at numbers definitely wasn't gonna cut it. Instead, I went to study Hotel/Hospitality Management in on of the world's most prestigious Swiss Universities located in Marbella, Spain. I then finished my final year in the little town of Bluche in Switzerland and worked at some of the world's most luxurious hotel chains in London and Cairo respectively.

I've been blessed to see so much of the world at my age and have made life-long friends with people from all over the globe - shaping me into the person I am today. I can absolutely say that I"ve learned the most from travel and my experiences with the people that have come across my path more than anything else. So, to me, journeys are definitely life changing and that is what has drawn me to WILD GUANABANA along with all its positive and sustainable efforts. I love inspiring people to get out and experience what the world has to offer, and doing that daily puts an enormous smile on my face!!

Mostafa Zayed, Intuitive Guanabana | Sales & Business Development Associate

--> If you’re looking to Guanabanize your company or spice things up for your team to get the most out of them, he's the guy to get in touch with!

Stinky labs, exploding flasks, injecting poor animals to death and selling drugs on the streets has been my life for 7 years! Working as a medical representative for multinational pharmaceutical companies and building a career in the field, wasn’t quite what I was looking for. After graduation, I thought a lot about how I would like to spend my life and explore our world and “unconventionally” was always on the list. What if I was able to work in the industry as well?

Looking for jobs in the travel industry, I came across Wild Guanabana and their desire to alter people’s lives through adventure travel. I realized it’s where I want to be and decided to happily join the tribe :)

Ohoud Saad, Vivacious Guanabana | Content & Marketing Associate

--> She's loud, in the office and on social media and she'll try to Guanabanize anything that comes her way!

I love storytelling. Through photographs, films, writings, journeys, anything at all! Drawing and painting were never my strongest elements but I realized there are different ways to becoming an artist. With an undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Arts and a double minor in Film and Psychology, I started exploring different realms of art and storytelling form. I wrote for my university’s paper and graduated to work as an editor making independent films on the side.

I studied for a semester abroad, travelled as often as I could and whether I was walking in Las Ramblas in Barcelona or camping on Heisa Island in Aswan, I felt the physical, spiritual and mental impact that travel had on me. I’m a sucker for discovering and showing new perspectives and I joined Wild Guanabana to tell you the stories of a wild and exciting travel and life perspective that you never saw coming!

Menna Atwan, Earnest Guanabana | Sales & CRM Specialist

--> She's a part of that great team that makes sure that all our clients are well looked after and happy!

I have always wanted to tour the world and get my passport filled with visas and my diary stuffed with stories. I was fortunate to take a semester abroad in the US for 6 months and had a chance to meet a wide diversity of cultures and nationalities. When the time came to depart the US and return home, I wasn’t ready to get back to the normal routine so I decided to take on another adventure to China. I immersed myself in the culture for 10 days between the capital Beijing and incredible Shanghai, then I had to leave for academic commitments :D

Besides travelling, I love trying cultural cuisines, learning new languages and indulging my senses with good music. I always believe that there is more to life than sticking to one pattern! I’m a very proud Guanabana! It is the perfect venue to convince people break routine and explore the world :)

Galal Zekri-Chatila, Electrified Guanabana | Adventure Travel Designer

--> He'll test out and design trails and trips then lead you on remarkable journeys!

I’ve always dreamt of becoming a traveler and being able to cross the world. I wasn't into using technology, it made me lose the real spirit of the old times. At age of 14 I went walking to Suez (80 km far from Cairo) in a camp with my school "Jesuites" and we also went cycling to Ismaeleya (100 km from Cairo). After these experiences, I realized that I enjoy challenging myself and overcoming my obstacles and boundaries.

When I was 18, I decided to use my bicycle as a mean of traveling and I cycled for 4 continuous days, 400 km to Nuweibaa. After overcoming what seemed impossible, I told myself why not to tour all around Egypt solo on my bicycle? Ha! That tour is 8,000km + and I was just a guy who managed to cycle only 400km, a very tiny experience compared to such a big deal. Yet, I was full of positive energy and pushed myself forward and cycled around Wahat, a distance of 1,650 km in 20 days, and that is just the beginning.

I’ve been working in the outdoor field since I was 14, and I’ve been promoted from an entity to the other till I reached our beloved future astronaut Omar Samra who believed in my cause and supported me all the way and I joined the Wild Guanabana tribe. My journeys succeeded in shaping my spirit and taught me that nothing is ever impossible. Interacting with nature made me see the world in a totally different way, life isn't about getting a job and saving money to be happy, life is all about love, peace and equality. If we believe in life, we will be happy :)

Marwa Fayed, Our Source of Inspiration

I like challenges, pomegranates, monkeys, and living wild! After spending ten years in the corporate world, I came across Wild Guanabana and decided to climb Kilimanjaro in 2010 and my whole life changed. I came down from the mountain, quit my job and decided to join the company and now I couldn’t be happier to be a corporate runaway.

I love sending people off on life changing experiences and I love it even more when I get to go myself ☺ Life is about losing your inhibitions, living in your uncomfort zone, inspiring yourself, discovering the wonderful world we live in, and always always always living wild!
